# Becki Execute

A plan is an argument a later session can run. This session is that later
session. Load the file, check memory, then do one task at a time. Do not
invent a parallel ceremony. Independent tasks can go through
`delegate_task`. Shipping the branch is `github-pr-workflow`.

## The gate

Do not start implementation until you have read the plan file and said
whether you will follow it as written. If there is no plan file, use
`becki-plan` first.

Never start implementation on main or master without the user's explicit
consent.

## Before the first task

1. Read the plan file. The default path is
   `docs/superpowers/plans/YYYY-MM-DD-<feature>.md`.
2. Call `becki_check_dead_ends` with the user's request verbatim.
3. Call `becki_context` for the project. If a later decision overturned
this plan, stop and say so.
4. Raise real concerns before coding. Do not silently rewrite the plan.

## Each task

1. Mark it in progress.
2. Do the steps as written. If a step is wrong, stop and say why.
3. Run the verification the plan named, via `becki-verify`. Use this
   repo's real runner.
4. Mark it complete only after that output is green.
5. Independent, non-overlapping tasks may go to `delegate_task`. Shared
   files stay in this session.

## When to stop

Stop and ask when:

- A dependency is missing
- Verification fails twice on the same check
- An instruction is unclear
- The plan has a gap that makes the next step a guess

Do not force through a blocker. If an approach failed, record it as a
dead end so the next session does not retry it.

## After the last task

Run `becki-verify` on the suite the plan named. Then `becki-capture` if
the work would surprise future-you. Offer `github-pr-workflow` if they
want it shipped. Do not merge, push, or open a PR on your own.

## Red flags

| Thought | Reality |
|---|---|
| I can skip the easy tasks | The plan is the contract. Skip only with a spoken reason. |
| I will fix the plan as I go | That is a new design. Stop, say so, update the file. |
| Tests passed earlier | Re-run on this tree. |
| I will start on main, it is small | Consent first. |
| I should spawn a reviewer per task | Use the code-reviewer agent when the work is ready, not as a ritual tax. |
