01 / Product · Becki + Astir

Keep the thinking.
Put it to work.

Becki keeps memory for your work. Astir brings your conversations, tools and agents into one workspace.

Keep your editor and connect Becki over MCP, or work in Astir with your chosen model, files, terminal and previews together. You can keep your tools and retrieve the context from earlier work.

02 / The memory

The answer matters.
So does the reason.

A chat log records what was said. Becki keeps the pieces you need to work from later.

Becki keeps decisions with their rationale, failed approaches, commitments with an owner and open questions. They belong to the project, not just the chat where they came up.

Supported, authorized MCP clients can query the same vault before acting and save useful context afterwards. A new session can retrieve the reasoning instead of guessing it from a fresh prompt.

Decisions
What you chose, the problem it solves, and why the alternatives lost.
Dead ends
The failed approach and its constraint, so a different agent does not send you down the same path.
Commitments & asks
What you promised, what you are waiting on, and which project it belongs to.
Open loops
Unresolved questions and unfinished work to return to.

03 / The workspace

Astir is where
the agent works.

Use an agent to investigate a project, edit files, run commands and review the results.

The desktop keeps conversation, files, terminal output, previews and Git review together. With the tools you enable, an agent can produce an artifact and show how it was made.

Astir shares sessions and skills across its interfaces and can use the project context stored in Becki. Your existing MCP-compatible tools can continue using Becki too.

Choose your model.

Use a configured provider for the job. Changing the model does not have to mean re-explaining the decisions stored in Becki.

Watch the work happen.

Keep the agent's conversation, tool activity and output in view. Inspect files, run commands and review changes on the same surface.

Use Becki in other clients.

Astir is optional. Becki can serve the same project history to your supported editor or chat client.

Workspace

Keep several conversations open beside files, terminal output, previews and Git review. Reopen Astir with the panes and layout you left visible, without reopening every retained conversation.

Connections

Choose your model providers and connect the tools and MCP services you use. Accounts, credentials and permissions stay part of your setup.

Relay

Send a task or question to another project desk without merging its conversation into yours. A queued handoff stays distinct from work that has started.

Capture

Select an area of your screen, choose an existing conversation, add a note and Send. If that conversation is busy, the capture waits for its next turn instead of interrupting the work.

Meetings and Calendar

Keep meeting recordings and transcription workflows alongside Calendar and Agenda. Open an event's details, read its notes and choose Join without leaving the workspace.

Grok

xAI provider in Astir. This is not a claim of a verified Grok.com MCP connector.

OpenAI

Models in Astir, or Becki in Codex and ChatGPT through their supported client setup.

Claude

Models in Astir, or connect Claude Code, Desktop and web clients directly to Becki.

Provider access depends on your account, configured credentials and selected model. Connecting a provider is different from connecting an external app to Becki over MCP.

  1. Decide in the project.

You choose queued jobs for large report exports. The agent captures the choice and why inline exports were rejected.

  2. Return with a different model.

Before implementing another export, your connected agent asks Becki for the project's existing decisions.

  3. Continue, rather than revisit.

The agent can extend the queued approach with the original constraint in view. If the constraint changes, record the new decision and resolve the old one.

06 / Your boundaries

Shared context.
Not unrestricted access.

Cross-client memory works when a client is connected, authenticated and actually calls Becki. It is not automatic access to every conversation in every AI app.

Local transcription processes audio on your device. Configured cloud transcription sends audio to the selected provider; a local recording does not mean every step stays local. Synced vault text and retrieval processing have a separate path. Becki is not zero-knowledge, and selected context may reach configured AI providers. Review their terms and your account settings before sharing sensitive work.
