the lineup·core + studio
One memory. Two ways to run it.

Both products keep the same shared memory across every AI tool you use. Core is the cross-platform daemon that lives quietly in your editor and chat tools. Studio is the Mac app that also sits in your meetings, catches the commitments you'd lose, and follows up on them for you.

01The two products

Pick the surface. Keep the memory.

Same vault, same MCP layer, same recall in every tool. The difference is how much of Becki runs on your machine, and whether it's in the room with you.

02What each does

The same loop. More of it in Studio.

Ingest, distill, recall. Both products run the full loop across your tools. Studio adds the surfaces that only exist when Becki lives on your Mac.

CoreStudio

Ingest from your tools

AI-tool sessions, git activity, and anything you write to the vault flow in automatically. No copy-paste.

both · claude code · codex · cursor logs · git sweeper
CoreStudio

Distill to typed nodes

Becki extracts decisions, commitments, dead-ends and open-loops, structured, not a wall of transcript.

both · decisions · commitments · asks · dead-ends
CoreStudio

Recall over MCP

Any MCP client asks Becki for context instead of you re-explaining. Same recall, every tool, in milliseconds.

both · claude · cursor · codex · zed · raycast · any mcp
Studio

Capture your meetings

Auto-starts on a calendar meeting or from the menu bar. On-device transcription. Raw audio never leaves your Mac.

studio · on-device · speaker diarisation · project tags
Studio

Nudge before it lands

Studio tracks the commitments you made and the asks you're owed, then nudges you before a deadline, or when someone still owes you a reply.

studio · deadline nudges · daily briefing · follow-ups
Studio

See it and own the key

Move through everything Becki holds in the NeuraVault 3D graph, and bring your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Google key so the AI spend lands on a bill you already pay.

03Inside Studio

The memory, with a face.

Studio gives Becki a native Mac home: Commitments, Meetings, Asks and Dependencies, and Ask Becki, all over the same vault Core serves to your tools.

Who owes what

The durable bits Becki pulled from your meetings: what you committed, what you're owed, which project it belongs to.

Same vault

Served over MCP

The daemon in the terminal panel is Core's job. Studio just gives it a window. Your tools see the same answers.

On-device

Captured locally

Meetings transcribe on your Mac. Raw audio and voiceprints never leave the device.

04 · Inside Core

The daemon that never forgets.

No app, no window, no meetings. Core is a small MCP server that runs in the background on any OS, harvests your AI sessions and git activity, and answers your tools when they ask.

06Common questions

Core or Studio? And the rest.

The short version: Core if you live in your editor and chat tools, Studio if you also want Becki in the room.

Core vs Studio, which one do I want?+
Core ($15/mo) is the MCP daemon. It runs in the background on Win / Mac / Linux, ingests your AI-tool sessions, git activity, and anything you write to it, and serves it all back to Claude, Cursor, Codex, and any other MCP client. No app, no meeting capture. If you live in your editor and chat tools, Core is enough. Studio ($25/mo, Mac only) is everything Core has, plus the parts that only work when Becki is on your machine and in your meetings: on-device capture, deadline nudges, a daily briefing, the NeuraVault 3D graph, and bring-your-own-key.
Can I start on Core and upgrade to Studio later?+
Yes. The vault is the same underneath. Studio just adds surfaces on top of the memory Core already keeps. Move up when you want Becki in your meetings; nothing you've taught it is lost.
What's the session sweeper?+
A background process that watches your AI-tool session logs (Claude Code, Codex CLI, and others) and harvests decisions, dead-ends, commitments, and open-loops directly from the conversation, even if the agent never explicitly called becki_ingest. Both Core and Studio run a daily digest pass. It's off by default; you opt in from Settings (Studio) or via becki-mcp init (Core).
What is "bring your own AI key"?+
Studio only. Plug in your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google key in Settings and Becki uses it for extraction and synthesis instead of routing through our backend, so the AI spend lands on a bill you already pay. Core uses Becki's backend for all LLM calls, included in the $15/mo.
Is my data used for training?+
No. Becki's underlying AI providers all operate under no-train policies, and your data is never used to train any model. Audio is transcribed locally on your Mac and never leaves the device; vault content is encrypted at rest in your private account.
What happens to my data if I cancel?+
Becki keeps your vault for 60 days after cancellation in case you come back. After 60 days, everything is purged. You can also export everything as JSON from Settings → Export anytime.

Stop teaching every AI from scratch.

Pick Core to give your tools one memory. Pick Studio to put Becki in the room. Either way, what you teach one, the others remember.
