Refund Policy

We want Becki to earn its place in your workflow, not trap you in a subscription. This policy explains how trials, cancellations, and refunds work. It is short on purpose.

The short version. Studio comes with a 14-day free trial, so you decide before you pay. Every plan, trial or not, also has a 14-day money-back guarantee: if you are charged and you are not happy, email us within 14 days for a full refund. Cancel anytime to stop future billing.

1. Try before you pay (Studio)

Studio includes a 14-day free trial. You are not charged until the trial ends, so you get to use Becki fully before any money changes hands. If it is not for you, cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.

Core and Team bill when you sign up (no trial), but you are not locked in. They are covered by the 14-day money-back guarantee below, so paying upfront still lets you try Becki risk-free for two weeks.

2. 14-day money-back guarantee (every plan)

This applies to Core, Studio, and Team. If you are charged and you are not satisfied, email us within 14 days of that charge and we will refund it in full. No interrogation, no hoops. It covers your first charge on a new plan, billed monthly or annually. For Core and Team, which have no free trial, this is your risk-free window.

3. Cancel anytime

You can cancel from your account at any time. Cancellation stops all future billing. You keep access to your paid features until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.

Cancelling is not the same as a refund. It stops the next charge rather than reversing the last one. If you also want your most recent charge refunded, use the 14-day money-back guarantee in Section 2.

4. Annual plans

Annual plans get the same 14-day money-back guarantee on the first annual charge. After those 14 days, an annual plan is non-refundable for the remainder of its term, but you can cancel at any time to stop it from renewing. If you prefer a lower commitment, choose the monthly plan, which caps your exposure at a single month.

5. How to request a refund

Email hello@becki.io from the address on your account, or reply to your purchase receipt, and tell us you would like a refund. We aim to process eligible refunds within a few business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

6. Payments and your statutory rights

Becki's payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing and refunds on our behalf, and Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Charges may appear on your statement with a Paddle reference alongside the Becki name.

This policy is in addition to, and does not limit, any refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country (for example, EU and UK cooling-off rights for digital purchases). Where the law gives you a stronger right, that right applies.

7. Fair use

The money-back guarantee is meant for customers deciding whether Becki fits their work. We may decline a refund where there is clear evidence of abuse, such as repeated buy-and-refund cycles on the same account.
